Harbor58 is a safe haven that provides resources and support for youth aging out of foster care by empowering them to achieve their full potential.

Our Why
Harbor58 is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization working with the often marginalized and forgotten, we will offer lifelong care and support through relationships. Our goal is to launch them into society as vibrant, thriving adults.
Statistics tell us that many of these young adults are struggling:

54% will get their high school diploma (limiting most job opportunities)

1 in 5 will be homeless within 1 YEAR

1 in 4 will be incarcerated within 2 YEARS (limiting future housing & job opportunities)

71% of women will be pregnant by age 21
-
ONLY 3% will earn their bachelor’s degree (despite 70% desiring higher education)

50% will be unemployed by age 24
WHAT WE DO
MENTORSHIP
Our trauma-informed, background screened mentors provide guidance, emotional support, and life skills. Mentorship promotes stability, builds self-esteem, and helps them transition to successful, independent adulthood.
MONTHLY FINANCIAL CLASSES
Equipping high school-aged teens with skills to manage money, build savings, and make informed decisions helps them achieve financial independence, avoid debt, and create a stable foundation for adulthood.
COMING SOON - HOUSING
Our future campus will allow us to expand our services to include a transitional housing program providing youth aging out of foster care with a stable, supportive environment as they work toward independence. Offeri essential resources like life skills training, guidance, and a safe place to live while they complete education or secure employment, helping them successfully transition into adulthood.
